The Cabinet of the Holy Elysian Empire (Latin: Cancellaria Sacri Imperii Elysiani) consists of the Heads largest part of the executive branch of the national government of the Philippines. Currently, it includes the Ministers of 16 Ministries and the heads of other several other minor agencies and offices that are subordinate to the Prime Minister.
Function
The Cabinet is a collective decision-making body, and decisions are often made through discussions and consensus among its members. The Cabinet's role is crucial in shaping government policies, ensuring coordination among different ministries, advising the Prime Minister in different affairs of state and responding to the needs and challenges of the country. Cabinet members are expected to provide expertise in their respective areas and contribute to the overall governance of the nation.
Qualification
In the Holy Elysian Empire, there are no specific legal or constitutional qualifications required to become a minister in the government. However, there are a certain criteria that individuals should meet and that is the Experience to the chosen field related to the Ministerial Portfolio. Aside from that people that met the criteria that are not elected to parliament are qualified to become a Minister but should attend Parliamentary Sessions for questioning and debates.
Nomination
They are nominated by the Prime Minister and then presented to the Commision on Appointments, a body of the Parliament that confirms all appointments made by the Prime Minister, for confirmation or rejection. If the Prime Minister's appointees are approved, they are sworn into office, receive the title "Minister", and begin to function their duties.
