The History of The Kingdom of Immitis

The Kingdom of Immitis (Latin: Regnum Immitis)

The Kingdom of Immitis is the last crusader state and still exists until today. Founded by famous French knight Sir Reynald Vicenna of Paris and his loyal companions. In 1095, Pope Urban II started preaching the First Crusade (1096–99). He promised forgiveness and pardon for all of the past sins of those who would fight to reclaim the holy land. These promises will later inspire Sir Reynald Vicenna and his loyal companions to take a part of the holy war or so called Crusade.

Begin in 1095, Sir Reynald Vicenna and his companions enlist themselves to Godfrey of Bouillon's army. Received basic training and education in France, then few months later after marching towards the Holy Land Sir Reynald Vicenna and his companions were knighted by Godfrey of Bouillon himself in Constantinople.

After become a knight, Sir Reynald Vicenna continue his service within Godfrey of Bouillon's army, and climb the ladder of the leadership. After fought in countless battles and sieges along side Godfrey's army, Sir Reynald Vicenna were appointed as a military advisor by Baldwin I (Godfrey's brother). And continue his service in Godfrey's inner circle.

In 1099, after 1 month, 1 week and 1 day of siege. Finally, the City of Jerusalem fell to the Crusader hand. On 17 July, a council was held to discuss who would be crowned the king of Jerusalem. On 22 July, Godfrey of Bouillon (who played the most fundamental role in the city's conquest) was made Advocatus Sancti Sepulchri ("advocate" or "defender" of the Holy Sepulchre) on July 22, refusing to be named king in the city where Christ had died, saying that he refused to wear a crown of gold in the city where Christ wore a crown of thorns.

Few years later Sir Reynald Vicenna remain on Jerusalem and continue his duty to Godfrey, and soon Godfrey named him as commander of the city guard. In 1110 after the death of Godfrey, his brother Baldwin I crowned as the first king of Jerusalem by the Patriarch. Which conducted some reform within the kingdom.

As a prominent and loyal servant to the crown, Sir Reynald Vicenna were given a piece of land near city of Acre and a small castle by King Baldwin I. He began spreading his influence and power throughout the kingdom and become most powerful nobleman in Kingdom of Jerusalem. In 1112 he married a noblewoman and having 4 sons & 2 daughters from his marriage. In several occasions legends says he called his dynasty as "Immitis" or "the ruthless", and the historian agreed to named his family the "House of Immitis".

No one were expecting that his dynasty will survive for hundreds of years and still ruing their land until today. Azera Vicenna is the one of descendant of Sir Reynald Vicenna, who still ruling and lives today. His people referred him as the King of Immitis.
