International Flight Goes Missing

Just 14 minutes past 2 pm late on Sunday, panic ensues an air traffic control tower in Camas International Airport (CID). Workers are desperately trying to contact United Flight 1209, which seemed to have disappeared off the face of the radar. What seemed like a routine flight for the 226 passengers on board and 14 flight crew members has turned into a battle for life and death.

United Flight 1209 is a flight connecting Flintees and Pyro Nation through the Pacific route, flying from the capital city of Camas to Justice. The route is flown with a Boeing 747-400 which is shown below. 

Only 20 minutes after takeoff, United Flight 1209 reports it's last message back to air traffic control on the coastal city of Parkdale. 2 minutes later, Parkdale air traffic controllers request United Flight 1209 to climb to 24,000 feet (7,315 meters) altitude. At this point, the plane should be over the South Pacific, but air traffic controllers never got a response. Less than a minute later, the small blip of United Flight 1209 disappears off of radars for air traffic controllers. Desperate attempts to contact pilots of the flight (Capt. Jamie Goodswimmer, F.O. Ronald Avocado) have all gone to vain, as no one has responded.

Flintees Coast Guard was notified of the disappearance only 15 minutes after all contact was lost. Normal precautions would be to dispatch Coast Guard an hour after the disappearance, but times were very desperate, as Fleet Admiral Anthony Edwards' own 18 year old daughter, who was going to study abroad in Pyro Nation, was on that very flight.

As search is underway, no wreckage has been found of the flight off the coast of Flintees. The Flintees Coast Guard is now widening their search, searching the entire expanse of water between Flintees and the southern tip of South America.

Given recent conflicts, many people are blaming Erebonia Empire, as they were recently at war with Flintees. Flintees was countering Erebonia Empire for an allied nation in Global Alliance and Treaty Organization. Erebonia Empire had launched many missiles at Flintees, but 1 missile never reached Flintees. As investigation is underway, many believe it is safe to assume that United Flight 1209 was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time. More information is coming, but as of now the government of Flintees hasn't released any statements.
