The proclamation of the Shadow Empire

The proclamation is silent, but listening closely you can hear everything. The state of state flucturates between being a real state with a functioning economy and a merely wasteland affected by the worst of anomalies. Shadows move across what some people could recognize as pathways while hiding in tent/ cave like structures. The houses of former Neocoris have been destroyed with all the streets and parks never to come back.

Dont look too deep into the shadows or they will start looking back. They are good at recognizing humen. But you are not at recognizing the shadows. The shades of shadows can flucturate like the state of state: sometimes they are alive, sometimes just anomalies.

The land is filled with riches, but also with curses. Whoever dares to go there and settle the land. Be aware the shadows now better. Be aware you cant live there long. In fact they might be out for you instead. 

They dont fight with weapons, but rather with nature, anomalies, so themselves and with moral manipulation. They can be defeated, but not easily. You need to understand first what makes them so strong to find their blindspot.

But better not let proudness guide you to defeat them, but rather wisdom. Be aware of them. Dont try to talk them away like the former civilisation did.

And maybe then a treasure might wait for you at the end

Know one thing however: they, the shadows have a society just like humen. But dont expect them to act like them. They might have an Empire, but for only 1 reason
