Beginning of the new year and recession

With the end of 2094, everyone and their families watched as the clock ticked til midnight. Cyberium across the nation celebrated the new year with late night barbecues with their families, frat parties with hard liquor and drugs, and religious festivals with prayer groups and astoundingly huge fireworks. Everybody was quite hopeful for 2095 to be the year that Nova Cyberia spreads its wings and greatly influences its free society upon the rest of Orbis.

Five days into 2095, however, the arms manufacturing industry suddenly collapsed, harming the economy along with it. Defense and protective services suddenly lacked sufficient funds and equipment, and so militia and patrol groups were no longer able to continue their operations properly. What happened? What caused this?

The Hundezündung

This can be directly attributed to the Hundezündung, which is the largest organized crime syndicate in the nation that is hellbent on obtaining market and social control, whether through the means of human trafficking, mass robbery, or otherwise social disruption. The Hundezündung sabotaged vital security systems of several major armories and ended up blowing up their factories and equipment.

People are understandably worried. A major sector of the Cyberium economy has collapsed, which happens to be the sector that provides protection, leaving the nation in economic downturn and majorly vulnerable to internal and external aggressors. The arms industry has no choice but to recover losses, whereas defense firms such as the Brotherhood Army need to recover the number of member soldiers and officers in their associations.

Chief Liberty of the Brotherhood Army has come out and made a statement regarding this crisis: "What has occurred yesterday is a serious offense to the libertarian social order that has laid the foundation for liberty, purity, Christian values, and common decency to prosper under our free society. These Hundezündung thugs are antiproductive parasitic aggressors that must be met with utter annihilation. There shall be no tolerance for rights violators."

Foreign actors

Private Agents from the Blue Cross Society have discovered that an unknown foreign government helped coordinate or aid the Hundezündung in the attack on the Cyberium arms industry, which may explain why the Hundezündung had the ability to bypass security systems and proceed with the terrorist attacks. This has major implications, which warrants further investigation regarding who the foreign actors are. The nation that is found to be guilty of supplying the terrorists will be met with retaliation.

I totally didn't decimate my PNW military for two achievements and then decide to use that as an excuse to base a roleplay bulletin off of it.
