War, I think

Well then, this is interesting, it seems that good ole Italy has invaded us. Well then, let's go and kick these Italians out of our land!

The Melonese who were already clashing with the Italians were falling back. They were outnumbered. The 7,000 Uchamese (Uchama said it was originally 47,000 so then I changed it) could not face these Italians, what was 10,000 troops turned into 5,000 troops, and 5,000 troops could not beat the 9,000 remaining Italian Troops. They fled, but help was on the way. A combined amount of 15,000 Melonese troops were stationed in multiple cities near the alps such as Évian-les-Bains, Chambéry, Abondance, Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, Beaufort-sur-Doron, La Grave, Bonneval-sur-Arc, Cordon, and Grenoble. These soldiers heard that there were clashes in the Alps, they knew this because the Melonese in the Alps sent a messenger to tell them. The 15,000 soldiers (exact number is 14,786) marched towards the Alps. Both sides knew the land, it would be a hard battle to win. The Melonese surrounded where the Italians were. The Italians were trapped. Melonese Snipers began to slowly pick them off. Then, the Melonese slowly began to move in. At midnight, they began the attack. Gunfire echoed across the Alps. The Italians woke up and immediately began to fire back. But they were caught off guard. The Melonese were quickly able to defeat the Italians. There were still some Italians left, and they ran, but they were killed by snipers in the area. Then, mechs searched the Alps, hunting for surviving Italians, they were able to track down and kill even more Italians. The Alps seemed to be secure. But it was not over, since the Melonese just took off in a hurry, they did not pack well, and so some starved and some froze. 2,296 were dead by the time they got back home(always pack well, or else you will end up like those Melonese). After securing the French Alps, soldiers who were well packed have begun a journey to set up artillery in the Alps, to make sure that no more Italians could get in, and to damage Italians in the valleys. A mobilization has begun on the French-Italian border, with an increased number of soldiers guarding the Alps (30,000 spread out in the Alps). The soldiers did the same strategy for the other areas where the Italians were advancing. The Alps have been secured. Minor clashes near Briancon have slowed, with little Italians remaining in the area.

The Blockade. It was a problem, resources were not coming in. The Melon issued rations and M.R.E.'s to make sure the people don't starve. Also, 35 ships stationed in Cyprus could not get to mainland Melon(Could Italy please tell me how many ships are in his blockade, because I can't really break it unless I know how many ships, give me details!). Anyways, citizens were being evacuated from Marseille and Nice, and protests about food shortages started. But it was not utter chaos, as The Melonese put an increased amount of anti-aircraft guns in hangers, and Melonese ships prepared for enemy ships of enemy aircraft. Ships in Cuba and Melonese Vietnam are on High Alert. The Melonese City of Brest is Prepared for a possible Graveyard Fleet invasion.

We need to cripple these Italians, how will we do that? Missiles. Many Missiles have headed towards Military Installations and Hangers for the Italian Military. The Missiles were a success, some were shot down(ingame Italy has the Iron Dome project), but most hit their targets, Italian missiles did return fire, striking a couple of military bases of ours. The Military bases were crippled and much equipment was destroyed. Drones are prepared to bombard any Italian troops that cross the Alps and go into the Melonese Land. The Melonese Air Force is currently in the air, attempting to shoot down any Italian planes in the air at the moment. The losses for the Italians are currently unknown, same for the Melonese. We do not have any info on the battles in the sky.

We are currently creating a treaty with A&SPA, so this bulletin happened before the treaty.
