Yes, indeed the King has been granted more of a role over how the nation is run as political crisis looms due to many nations declaring all-out war on the Kingdom. Parliament had issued a bill to be passed by all its members to grant the Exalted King special powers - but not ones to make or break governments obviously, lest we pivot towards a despotate like how Britain was around 500 years ago.

Now that Cosmic III now has more royal powers, what will this say about the nation's future politics, and how will this lead to the nation's resurgence onto the world stage?

We currently do not know much about Cosmic himself, as he has just become our rightful king, and who knows what his political agenda is. Many sources believe that he will continue in the path of his father, Aphelion I, and attempt to influence the government and Parliament as a whole towards a more leftist, socialist ideology, however some also claim that he may try to distance himself from that trend and attempt to grab more power for himself and try and transform the Kingdom into an oligarchy, of which his loyal followers shall be given roles in his government.
