The newly formed country, New Great Britain, has been granted independence by the British Empire. After Scotland's outcry for self-governance, Alexander Pendragon traveled to Glasgow in an effort to settle the matter. The talks between the Prime Minister and the self-proclaimed Prime Minister of NGB ended in favor of the Scottish nationalists. Both Scotland and Northamptonshire will be under the New Great Britain parliament.

Almost immediately after their independence, multiple political blunders were served under the guidance of their incompetent, alcoholic leader. He decided to ban all forms of homosexuality and has sentenced a 14-year-old child to an agonizing and borderline-torturous death. Alexander Pendragon issued a statement regarding the precarious situation: "The NGB’s new laws on capital punishment and sexual orientation are unjust and inhumane. If the NGB carry on in the same fascist manner they have already demonstrated, we will act with force to protect the people of Britain. Any civilian living under NGB rule will be granted refugee status and accommodation." Military garrisons in the North of England have been moved to standby over fears of a Scottish insurgency.

Heathrow Airport is renowned as one of the largest and most successful airports in the world, and a new construction project is set to strengthen that title. A new magnetic launch assist track has finished construction, making visits into space more affordable. Furthermore, a second runway is also soon to be completed that will only be used by 'spaceplanes.' Spaceplanes take off like normal airliners, but when they get to a high enough altitude, they switch to rocket engines that propel them into space. British Airways has already sought out to monopolize the industry by purchasing the necessary aircraft used in space travel. Along with British Airways, Virgin Galactic and EasyJet are in the process of expanding into spaceflight. British Airways' waitlists for tourist trips into space have reached a prolonged booked period of over six months.

Twelve Titan Corporation mining satellites have begun excavation on three near-earth asteroids. The spacecraft used, named Comet, is completely autonomous and has an onboard processing unit capable of refining the precious metals it is mining. Once its storage facility is full, it will relaunch back to earth where it will be emptied and used again. Titan Corporation and The Japanese Isles have made a deal over titanium production; JI will have 150,000 tons of titanium delivered annually for a disclosed price. This thirst for 'space mining' comes after Oxford University estimated certain precious metals will be completely exhausted in under five years.

British armed forces and Titan PMC contractors stationed in Africa have stormed previous British colonies after the collapse of The African Union. It is expected to be a relatively easy conquest as TAU armed forces were dissolved, and the population is in complete disarray. The 2nd and 3rd British fleets alongside the Royal Marine fleet have set sail to various countries in Africa to retake them.

Yes, I have returned (kind of). I will not immediately come fully back; instead, I will gradually become more active. I have partly kept up with what's happened via talking to other nations, so I should be reasonably educated on any current situations.
