The Asord Chronicles Book 1
The Asord people come from north of Herton and east of the Restos river but as babarians attacked them in the late 400s AD the Asord people would flee across the Restos river. By the early 500s AD the Asordians would set up a small petty kingdom which they called Kingdom of Forets. the kingdom lasted from 521-986 AD. Over the span of the kingdom it's power and wealth grew but in 986, the Torlos Empire attacked the small kingdom conquring it but luckly for Asord the Empire would be gone soon lasting from 348-1025 AD. meaning that not to long after it begin they where free but the conquest and occupation was harsh and the asord people would be highly weakened. Independance only lasted from 1025-1087 When in 1087 the Moketian Empire conqured Asord and another harsh occupation insuede but in 1298 The Empire had a massive losse in central athourity and Asord was able to become a baronate to one of the powerfull nobles being granted some land to rule under them. The situation was like that until 1390 When after the collapse of the Duchy of Narsue we'd establish ourselves as a count the Empire officialy dissolved in 1813 but was long dead before then with the title being only in prestiege with no power after 1298 or highly limited power.
