The Freedom Party has led a deal to be formed between themselves and the National Party over the issue of increasing farming subsidies. The decision comes after protests beginning in the capital city over the issue and the ending of progression on any other bills being brought to the floor.

The bill, now finally passed, has a clause increasing subsidies for flax farming by 12%, as opposed to the originally proposed 15%. The other piece of the compromise included a clause stating that income tax will be increased by 2% for the uppermost class stage; lastly, a clause states that there will be a grant available to local township groups over the next two months.

Congress has resumed normal activity and bills are being passed as per usual.
