This Morning, an Osian weather satellite took a picture of a tropical storm forming into a hurricane near the Organ Stait, which leads into the Bay of Osio. It is expected to hit Osio on Thursday. Authorities have been informed and the government has stated that it is “ready” when the hurricane hits. Thousands of People have been given the Green light to either shelter themselves in their homes or evacuate, of which over 6000 have already done.

The Western Coast Guard of Osio has recorded higher waves than normally, although The Western Coast tends to have high and strong waves, which makes it a paradise for surfers from all around the world. The average wave height has increased from 2.1 Meters(approximately 7 Feet) to 3.8 Meters(approximately 12 Feet), causing a few Seaside Restaurants in Arenon to have their balconies Flooded because of the absurdly high size of the waves. Furthermore, a residential neighborhood in Al-Marina had to be evacuated because of Flooding by the waves. Another incident that happened less than an hour ago was the destruction of a small wooden pier and the few fishing boats that were attached to it. Luckily, no one died, but there were 2 injuries from people who were standing on the pier and were saved by coast guard helicopters.

The Defense Department has issued orders to begin a “slowdown” in naval activity, especially on the Western Coast. By 6PM on Wednesday, it will be illegal to go by fishing boat or any sort of oceanic vehicle on the western coast, and 12 Hours later, at 6AM, sailing on the East Coast will be banned too. This is to prevent the loss of lives at sea, as the waves on the East coast will increase drastically as well. Here it has increased from 1.3 Meters(approximately 4 Feet), to 2 Meters(approximately 6 6”, or 6 Feet Six Inches).

The Hurricane has already formed, but hasn't gained the speed necessary. It's already passed the Organ Strait, but it's scheduled to reach Osio around Monday. Wish the best of luck to my people's.
