At that moment I knew I had to let the nation know that things were going to get so much worse… I was scared and believed that that man drinking tea was the worst creature alive! ....~ anonymous person speaking ~

Ever wondered why things have been so quiet in the isle of Lewis and Harris lately...? Well, this is because we were praying....

 yes dear ladies and gents.... our poor souls have been fetched away by the evil demon man who wants to take ownership over all of our island. He has already handcuffed our poor queen and left her at his evil and cruel mercy... Now he plans to take her crown. But behold ladies and gentlemen with what shocking rumor you are about to hear next.... He plans to take the queen away and kidnap her by sailing her to the isle of York as soon as they get married. This kind of shocking revelation was discovered by a very useful eavesdropper! 

We are sure that the nobles are going to definitely rebel and try to stop this kind of bad thing from happening to the poor queen. 

 The Earl of york was heard chatting by a very reliable source ... he was heard speaking about the nation's plans 'over a secret drink of tea and biscuits'....  

Whilst discussing what ghastly things he plans to do with our nation he was overheard saying that he will take the throne BEFORE he weds the queen…. If this is true… if this shocking thing is really going to happen… then all is lost for good! 

The staff member who wishes to remain anonymous for obvious reasons… has given a full detail of what he heard during the Earl of yorks scandalous tea break…. 

The following is quite telling indeed of what his lordship plans to do with us…. 

Account for anonymous staff member… 

“I was ordered to make the tea and serve them there as no other butlers or anything in this certain venue. I, being the second footman, was the only staff member there… 

He … the future majesty himself…  was sitting on an embroidered cream armchair and sitting next to him were a few of his royal pals I think. They all seemed to be rather merry and laughed a lot. It was a casual mood and the scent of smoke from his cigar seemed to fill the musty old room. I walked in with the porcelain cups of tea and ginger biscuits  … and placed them on the little mahogany bench … as I was about to leave the room… that was when I heard something very scary. He was speaking in a light and casual tone about the nation's affairs… I heard him talk about what shocking things he wll do to the queen … this is what he said… he was talking to an older gentleman that was sitting with the others. He managed to insult the queen's own mother and the aristocracy too by calling them “hooligans”... he also insulted the queen by saying she doesn't know how to rule a nation. 

The old man asked him about how he planned to deal with current tensions with him being king…. And this is how the earl of york replied… 

“Yes. old man… the title .. Ahh yes… that's the thing i wished to discuss with her. That girl has no clue on how to rule a household, despite a nation. I took it on myself to take hold of the ruling reins before I marry her… so that things will be ordered correctly as I wish them to be. Rose is too young for all this business of political stupidity and the vulgarity of court will not suit her ….  After the wedding we shall leave for york….  I want to keep her away from the  hooligans of the nobility and the old dame that she has for a mother. I want to make sure she will have a home there…. She belongs in york… it will suit her… more than this cursed valley. The title of queen shall not apply to her in York… she will just be my wife… nothing more… therefore it is the best option for both of us ....” 

The older guy then asked “when will you become a king then?” or something like that… 

The earl of york replied with obvious vagueness and with a rather wicked face … and it seemed a little bit too clear that his decisions were not going to be very good for anyone and that he was clearly happy with all the bad things he was doing…  

“It will be confirmed before the wedding” he said whilst sipping his tea.

So ladies and gentlemen… that is the shocking news that has broken through the nation. It hasn't officially been confirmed yet if the duke will take over before or after the wedding… or whether he will take our precious queen away to his island of york… but by hearing and seeing the evidence it is clear that these dreadful things will be happening… 

What will our nation do without a queen… what will we do when he takes her away to his evil land? He is planning to be our king and yet he does not even wish to stay here…. What will become of us without a present ruler?…. We can only look to the nobility now for answers… 

Not to mention ladies and gents that by taking the throne before the wedding, the man will be violating the Act of Continuation and Loyalty which was established in highland law in 1543 by King Sebastian IV of the islands. The act was the first of its kind and allowed for a female monarch and only a female monarch the ability to hand over all her royal powers and the throne to her husband. The act clearly stated that the handing of powers can only take place between a queen and her husband after marriage. 

So what will happen now… how will the nobility react to the actions of this mad and evil duke who is going to go against a lawful act…. time will only and hopefully tell… and prevent him from doing these dreaded things…
