Citizens and Orbisians,

Today I write with great excitement, as another step in the plan has now been accomplished. After the renaming of Vercity into Tanalat City, I wanted something that would help bring new pride to the city. I have devised, and gotten approval for, a street circuit around the winding roads of our great capital city. It's called the Tanalat City Street Circuit and will be added to the Formula 1 calendar beginning in 2025 Earth time. It will be an exciting and challenging race, forcing drivers and teams to contend with the extreme heat and humidity that afflicts most of the nation. As well, it will be interesting to see the different aero packages that the teams show up with. There are very tight and twisty sections where a high-downforce setup will be much faster, but there are also many long straights where low-downforce is king. A mix of Singapore and Jeddah, I and the rest of the High Council expect that it will become a mainstay of the pinnacle of motorsport.

A lap of the Tanalat City Street Circuit begins on a long straight along Radiant Avenue. Drivers are then faced with a fast right turn at the city walls, aptly named the Wallrider. They can take plenty of speed through, but if they aren't careful, they'll learn why we call it that. After a short straight, the double-apex turn 2 and 3 complex takes the drivers past the Culuff Heights Botanical Garden. It'll give them some much-needed shade for a few seconds before they get to turn 4, Howe's Lift. This left hairpin takes them around the Howe Academy of Physics, a hub of knowledge where advancements such as the one found in F1 cars are made every day. After turn 4 is an uphill DRS section, then it levels out and there is a shallow left onto historic Folkland Drive. A long right-hander in turn 6 is next, called Caldwell Corner as it passes through the eponymous Caldwell sector of the city. A short straight and we reach a right-left-right downhill chicane, turns 7, 8, and 9, also known as the Blue Lagoon chicane as it is next to a small lake called, well, you can probably guess. A sharp left turn 10 onto South Avenue quickly leads into another fast left-hander onto Spades Street, turn 11. Then a long right-hand 180 that runs next to the Briton Battlements, turn 12. A long straight similar to the start-finish is next, complete with DRS, and then a 90-degree right turn 13 to Westropolis Way. After, it's another double right for turns 14 and 15, first at Feres Junction and then at Stamats Hospital. A tight hairpin left is next, turn 16, the Wild Skiles, named after one of the bravest airmen back in the Primar days, William Skiles. He has the record for most air kills in the Armada, but often preferred to work alone. This earned him the name, and the turn goes past his memorial, erected after he died of natural causes a few months after Brawlywood. Macabre explanations aside, there's a decent straight after turn 16 before reaching the final few turns, starting at a double left in turns 17 and 18. Freman's Delight, turn 18, is the name of the largest hotel in the city, and Blind Sign Boulevard is actually the street that held the very first anti-royalty demonstration way back in the day before I was Overlord and Primar existed. The final turn, turn 19, is onto Radiant Avenue and gets drivers back on the start/finish straight. However, when pitting, drivers simply keep going forward at Radiant and go alongside. The pit lane is housed in the Plaza Toro, a park and museum showcasing the great history of Tanalat and Primar before it.

Not only do I believe that this will instill national and city pride, but it will also work wonders to bring tourists to our nation, where we will stand to benefit from all of the money that they bring in. I aim to create a nation welcoming to all, and this is one of the ways in which I intend to do so. Although it seems far away, I for one cannot wait until the inaugural Tanalat Grand Prix.

Signed,

Overlord Primal of Tanalat
