On March 30, 2067, military forces under the command of General Patronas and his subordinates launched a siege on Terrad, which were occupied by Große Heimat Separatists, as well as rouge remnants of the Victorian Pro-Corporation Movement. Despite facing fierce resistance and their use of Energon “Ant-Killer” Cannons, they were able to break through their defenses and force them on a retreat, as well as crushing a bulk of their routed forces.
“We managed to render the Große Heimat incapable of fighting back," Lieutenant Peterson said in an interview, “but we didn't expect them to use the Ant-Killers. Fortunately, most of us managed to not get hit by the blasts."
According to General Patronas, the army lost a few dozen squads from the siege while he is confident that the most of Große Heimat Separatists are crushed. The city itself suffered extensive damage in its infrastructure, but top Grelandian engineers are confident that they can rebuild it in a single day, provided that funds are funneled to the project.
Other insurrectionist groups expressed their sympathy over the loss of their brethren in local media, but they are still determined to fight for their own cause.
