South Africa's History and Beliefs

History:
I decided to write this before I forget everything. When I first began PnW (Politics and War), it was December of 2018. I stumbled upon this random game and decided to give it a try. I created a small country called 'Himiko Toga', and for a few days, it was enjoyable; until I got attacked for not being in an alliance. I was so concerned that the game wasn't for me, so I deleted it. Fast forward to February 2019, I restarted as a new country under the nation name "Yuzu Aihara" with my leader name as 'Ruby'. It was here that I first got a taste of Orbis and started to develop. The first alliance was something called 'IRON'. Apparently, our IRON was a ripoff of another alliance. I had been invited by someone named Gandalf (whose real name was Diomedes). Our alliance got attacked by another group called 'Yakuza'. The rest of IRON wanted to surrender, but I suggested that we should fight back against Yakuza. Even though we lacked the resources and manpower, I didn't want to give up again.

Instead, I was approached by the leader of Yakuza named Zhen. He told me about IRON and the truth behind its origins. He offered us to be a protectorate under Yakuza to me and two others, and I reluctantly agreed. Thus, I created the alliance 'Aihara Family', which was a short-lived alliance until it merged with Yakuza.

At first, I was universally disliked within Yakuza because I spammed emojis and was seen as too soft. They didn't think I fit in, which I didn't. They were a group of eccentric individuals - druggies, criminals, or outright degenerates. But that's where I grew to love them, and they grew to accept me. My moment to prove my worth came when I attacked a much bigger nation in a counter-move, and everyone in the alliance seemed to be okay with me afterward. In fact, I grew very close to most of the members. That point in time changed my future in PnW.

A few months passed, and suddenly an alliance led by a man called Elijah Mikaelson (EM) merged his alliance into ours. Initially, I thought nothing of this new man or his people. However, we grew to trust each other, and he realized I accepted him while many Yakuza members did not fully trust him. Over time, he promoted me to oversee his operations and growth plans for the alliance, and I took charge of our IA (Intelligence and Analysis). We became somewhat inseparable, and I became his confidant (by my own agreement). During the Dial-Up conflict, I stood by his side and launched aggressive attacks against the enemy, achieving the best net result in our alliance and ranking among the top in the Citadel sphere. As well, a majority of Yak members had grown to hate EM and myself. However, Dial-Up exposed the vulnerabilities and incompetence of Yakuza, leading to our downfall. After the war, Yakuza disbaneded and I re-created 'Aihara Family'. This time, as a zombie alliance of EM loyalists from Yakuza. It served an alliance called !@#$ before merging. Then I left !@#$ to join EM in a two-man alliance.

I continued to follow him until we were hunted down by an alliance called the Black Knights. On New Year's Eve, I deleted my country, and eventually, EM did the same a few months later. He is still considered a hero in my country. 

I returned to PnW many months later in 2020, which is the origin of my current country. I started in Chocolate Castle, then joined some other alliances before forming my own called 'Just Taiga' (JT). Initially a raiding alliance under Mythic, JT eventually transitioned into a farming alliance after the collapse of Mythic, becoming a CTO protectorate. This arrangement lasted for about half a year until JT aligned itself with Weebunism for protection. During this period, I encountered someone named Moogs (who will play a significant role later on). Just Taiga persisted for several months before merging into Weebunism. Following the merger, I rose through the ranks and eventually became the FA (Foreign Affairs) representative.

However, this phase was short-lived. Weebunism began to splinter into smaller alliances, and these splinters started poaching members from our alliance with the ultimate goal of taking everything. However, Moogs and I decided to counteract the poaching by taking control of the alliance's resources. Initially, Weebunism and Eclipse didn't mind that we were forming our own alliance. However, they dismissed our concerns about the resources and saw it as an attempted heist. Eventually, a peace agreement was reached, but both Weebunism and Eclipse betrayed the deal and attacked Moogs and me. I temporarily left the game, while Moogs left entirely.

I returned to PnW a few months later, once again aligned with Carthago. This is where my history concludes, as I am currently serving as a Senator in Carthago at the time of composing this document.
 

How this history impacts South Africa today: 

The reality is that my county's entire philosophy has been built on a "Taiga First" principle ever since Elijah Mikaelson quit. My favorite period in this game was the early days when I was still called Ruby. I miss the circle of people I knew and the paradise we tried to build, but ultimately failed. That period will never return. Without EM, I must protect my country's interests at all costs above all alliances and above all others. South Africa is all South Africa has in Orbis. There is no family, nobody else to save my country.

This is not truly unique in terms of wanting the best for my country; everybody wants their country to be the best. But my story is what makes it unique. I still see myself as that small country, that small leader named Ruby. I'am still in Aihara waiting for my hero to return.
