After a long debate among military and homeland ministers on whether to reintroduce a state military, a verdict has finally been reached. From this verdict comes the recreation of one of Vetus Mundus/Nova Mundus' most infamous military regiments, QW-Korps.
Any nation that has been around long enough knows what kind of reputation this name carries. From war crimes to downright massacres, the QW-Korps has done it all. Of course, this decision was overseen and publicly commended by Kable Lere, current leader of the nation. This has caused controversy too, as expected. Progressive parties in parliament protested that reintroducing the QW-Korps would bring us to war again, which caused more uproar from left and right-wing parties claiming that were weren't ready for war.
Unable to quell the uproar in the parliament building, Kable Lere proceeded to threaten to disband parliament and have all of those who were unruly hanged. Silence soon filled the room after the announcement. Preparations to remake the QW-Korps into a state military have already begun.
