After roasting feminism, the evil Duke takes his future wife "shopping"

He had just crushed  a small protest in Stornoway this afternoon... and now he was seen walking with the queen through the streets of a village that was situated  by the eastern coast of a Harris.  His normal bad humored demeanor had seemed to have vanished this evening as he was seen by local villagers walking with his future bride in a "most lovable  fashion"".  the Duke was smiling, embracing her and holding her hand.

 The locals who spotted the couple were surprised. They were used to frequent visits from the queen as she liked to go out for errands.. but they had never seen his lordship accompany her before. Locals found it astonishing to see him in such a merry and romantic mood as he led the queen through the streets. The two visited a cake shop, a clothing store and then they made their way to the local medieval church. Apparently the duke bought the queen a woolen jumper. It really does seem that Lord Meriwether  will do what he likes and doesn't care at all about how his action stain his reputation. His rebellious behaviors have left more villages bewildered. "he walked around like a total dandy... he thinks too much of himself" Henry the farmer stated  

"It seems nothing can be done about the evil and arrogant overlord, ... we shall just have to put up with his tyrannical rule... the scary way he crushed the feminist  union protest has shown this cleanly to us." another said 

"I must admit he looks  very well dressed and quite gentlemanly  I suppose... but i'm not sure how dangerous he is" a woman called Ethel remarked 

Patrica Puddleworth was a shopkeeper who was able to catch a closer glimpse of the two lovers "I know the papers say hes got a bad and grumpy personalty and all... but when i met him he was polite and very chivalrous ... not a trait you really see in men these days... he kind of reminded  me of those old fashioned knights from fairy tales.."
