United Defense Initiative's Vosges Campaign

June 17, 2091

As the UDI forces repel the Brotherhood offensive at Victoria city, the UDI continues to advance to the city of Epinal. The UDI forces has gathered 250,000 Troops and only 450 Tanks to support its offensive. The city of Epinal had been under the control of the Forsaken Brotherhood for several months, serving as a key stronghold in their campaign. However, the UDI's resolve to restore peace and stability to the region propelled them into a fierce and strategic offensive. The Brotherhood shot down 23 UDI Aircraft outside the city aware of the UDI's advance, alarms the soldiers to be prepared for a battle.

Air Dominance: 4:50am...

As the sun rose on June 17, UDI forces began their advance towards the outskirts of Epinal. The Forsaken Brotherhood, well-prepared for the impending assault, launched a barrage of artillery and rocket fire to slow down the UDI's progress. The UDI responded with a combination of airstrikes and electronic warfare systems to disrupt the enemy's targeting capabilities. This resulted 50 Brotherhood SAM systems to shut down allowing UDI Aircraft to pass through. As the initial contact intensified, UDI aircraft took to the skies to engage the Brotherhood's artillery positions. Hypersonic II Rockets were launched from UDI 'Azure' Attack Aircraft, targeting known artillery emplacements. The sound of engines roared overhead as aircraft weaved through the skies, avoiding other anti-aircraft fire from the Brotherhood's ground-based defenses. The Brotherhood SAM systems reactivated, detected the incoming UDI aircraft and activated their targeting radars. However, the UDI had prepared for this engagement. A UDI aircraft based electronic warfare 'AirBEW' flew in tandem with the strike formation, emitting a spectrum of electronic signals designed to confuse and overload the Brotherhood's SAM systems. As the UDI aircraft closed in on their targets, they released volleys of Hypersonic II rockets eliminating Brotherhood defensive positions allowing for the ground forces of UDI to advance.

Urban Warfare: Epinal's Entrance

The UDI's forces entry into the city marked a pivotal juncture in the battle. With their aircraft now has air dominance, UDI forces were able to proceed with greater morale as the city's streets and alleys became the theater of urban warfare, where skill, tactics, and determination played crucial roles. The UDI Infantry engaged battle with the Brotherhood forces inside the buildings throwing petrol bombs and other explosive throwables as the UDI exchanged with flashbangs and grenades. The Brotherhood unleashed its APC known as 'Centipede' featuring a long vehicle with firing vents adding offensive capabilities to its already defensive nature. As UDI forces advanced, they faced fierce resistance from the Brotherhood, who had strategically positioned themselves within buildings, behind barricades, and in narrow alleyways. Firefights erupted around every corner, with UDI troops and Brotherhood fighters engaging in close-quarter combat. The Brotherhood fired more missiles to advancing UDI forces but were intercepted with 'Ares' defense systems and vehicles. The UDI still faces heavy resistance considering the Brotherhood is encircled with ground forces and air dominance, the Brotherhood has contacted their HQ for a Nuclear Strike in the city. To counter the Brotherhood's hidden positions and tunnel networks, UDI forces employed reconnaissance drones 'Owl' and tunnel specialists. These experts mapped out the Brotherhood's underground infrastructure, allowing UDI soldiers to locate and eliminate hidden enemy positions, preventing ambushes and retreat from unexpected directions.

A Blink of an Eye: Mass Destruction

The battle for Epinal's streets was fierce and unrelenting. Each building, intersection, and alleyway became a battleground, with UDI forces methodically advancing and clearing one area at a time. The Brotherhood has contacted an airstrike but the Brotherhood Aircraft was intercepted by UDI Aircraft due to its air dominance. As the battle rages on, a loud roar in the skies echoed to the city bringing terror to everyone fighting resulting in silence. A bright light covered everyone's eyes as the loud bang and fireball disintegrates the buildings and forces in the city causing a shockwave to other cities. It was a Nuke.
