Advancing Into Zenteka, but at what cost...

The Advance has begun, as 1.5 million soldiers were departed to Zenteka, along 180,000 Uchamese Soldiers. The Soldiers were all equipped with an M-16, and enough supplies to last 3 days on their own if they got lost, unfortunately, that happened a lot. Even though it was the middle of May, normally summertime in the Melon, it was extremely cold, and there was snow everywhere, the Zentekans automatically had the environment on their side, but we didn't need the environment on our side...

Just Kidding, the environment should have been on our side. The Battles were tough and the enemy was fierce. Though we did win many of our battles, they had horrible casualties for us. We managed to mostly take the province of Kirovohrad, with the death of our side being grim, with 180,000 on our side, and only 110,000 for the Zentekans, we were not prepared for this. But the deaths at Kirovohrad looked like a saint compared to the deaths at Odessa... 

Odessa was a nightmare, 400,000 experienced Zentekans were guarding it, but orders are orders, so we attacked, the Zentekans also attacked, we knew from inside info that Zenteka would have about 400,000 soldiers guarding it, so we brought 600,000 soldiers. They attacked and we attacked, since they had ground superiority, it was only barely enough soldiers to take the city. And take the city we did, after days of hard work, we managed to take the city, our losses: 530,000, Zentekan losses: 400,000 + 3,000 civilians (caught in the crossfire). It was a victory, but at what cost?

After the hard fought victory in Odessa, we went on the defensive for awhile, and aid from the Soviet Federation arrived, Soviet's were experienced in this climate, and fought similarly to the Zentekans. Mykolayiv is where we are currently fighting, It is hard but we will probably win, until next bulletin!
