An Ideological Referendum took place today in Britain and it showcased how a majority of the population expressed a desire to become a further right wing economy. After two decades of adherence to socialist principles and beliefs, the citizens of Britain have made their voices heard, opting for a departure from their previous economic and political ideology. Large cities and southern counties were mostly pro-capitalism, while parts of the north of England, Wales and Scotland were pro-left wing. 72%, a significant majority, of voters were in favour of having a capitalist system.

In an effort to please both, multiple new policies have been introduced. They are as follows:

. Income tax will have two brackets that a person can pick between. The first if a 45% tax bracket that grants you access to the the welfare system. The second is a 15% tax bracket and does not grant you the welfare system.

. The Government will interfere in the economy only when it is necessary

. The markets will be slowly be liberalised and opened up to private enterprises, allowing businesses and individuals to act without government financial control

. State owned companies will be privatised and will not be under government control.

. Individuals and companies can buy property without government interference unless necessary.

. Reduce bureaucratic regulations that prevent business growth

. The markets will be opened further, opening them up to any foreign investment (unless from a blacklisted company)

. A new stable and transparent monetary policy will be adopted that will control inflation and help maintain price stability.

. A new legal framework will be implemented to protect the rights of the population and ensure a fair and transparent legal system.

. Intellectual property rights will be strengthened.

. Regulations for protecting consumer rights will be put into place in an attempt to reduce unfair business practices

. Corruption will be combated and accountability in government and businesses will be promoted.

. A Parliamentary Democratic system will be reintroduced that will be modeled off the original United Kingdom's governance.

The new welfare system:

These will only be eligible for people with access to the system.

- free medical, dental and mental health services

As sedrosia made my flag very recently for me, I will keep it up as I haven't been using it for long. Until I have enough credits my name will be the same ingame but I would appreciate it if I could be known as Britain please. I am okay being called CB as I have grown quite fond of the nickname.
