Here is Part 1 of the Overhauling Series

https://politicsandwar.com/bulletin/id=32544/overhauling-wars

So... we are at a point where we finally need to talk about this funny issue. The one and only, the one which causes headaches accross the whole P&W Bulletin Rp community: Territories.

They are the number one reason to start funny wars and lead to enormous toxicity in the long term as they are managed now.

We need some overhaul to make them less toxic in the long term.

And thats where Shared Territory comes into play:

Finding a good piece of land to roleplay on is harder to find than someone might imagine. Protecting your territory from "intruders" is also quite hard. They are just so stuborn and don't go find another land 🤬🤬🤬. Nahh the problem is different: the common thought is that furfilling one of the parties demands in territorial issues would lead the other one not having their demands furfilled. Of course noone wants to voluntarly give up any of their territory. Instead shared territory solves this whole problem: Both parties can roleplay with their claim on territory and can peacefully "coexist" with each other. New Players just can choose their nation and roleplay and the more established nations don't need to cede anything for it.

Of course there will be a new problem regarding overlapping territory and how realistic this is, but:

1st. It worked out just fine before and some more spicy issues could be prevented

2nd: Caring about realistic borders should not be the main priority right now. Such issues can still be handled voluntarly if both parties accept. Otherwise we know what happens...

So...

I hope this could help roleplay
