This is an update on the other House resolutions, and a national referendum taken to see citizen opinion of the Swing, a massive Orbis business.

H.R.3 was passed 1,593 to 307, although it was amended to build off of H.R.2. Bill H.R.4 was blocked, however, by an unlikely coalition of the left and the Isolationist and Glove Parties, 823 to 1,077. H.R.5 was also blocked, 783 to 1,117. H.R.6 was passed unanimously, 1,900 to 0. When asked how such a thing could happen, Speaker Reish had this to say; “SWGB and Taith are still fresh in everyone’s minds. No one wants a repeat.”

H.R.2, H.R.3, and H.R.6 were combined as a package economic bill, and presented to the Senate. Alexander Farthing said this was in attempt to appease all sides somehow, and it appeared to work, as the bill passed without any significant opposition, 873 to 77. The bill, named the Revenue and Investment Adjustment Bill (RIAB), will be presented to Lord Lysander soon. Lord Lysander reviewed and passed H.R.1, the Tax Reform Bill.

The New Swing Opinion Poll, recently released by the Lyonian National Press, has completed. Citizens were asked to list their opinion of the Swing, from 1 (hated) to 10 (loved). 17% of respondents wrote down 1, making that the second most popular option after 7, which had 22%. The full percentage list is as follows;

1) 17%

2) 7%

3) 6%

4) 8%

5) 10%

6) 13%

7) 22%

8) 9%

9) 5%

10) 3%

This makes the average approval rating approximately 5.1, which means the population is barely favorable towards the Swing.
