Reorganization of Corsican Nation

After the annexations of so many regions, the destabilization of Corsica was something the government couldnt prevent. Despite their best efforts, cracks in the administration began to show. Eventually this would degrade into protests, then riots... and to prevent a full-blown revolution and/or civil war Corsica has been reformed from a highly centralized authority to a collection of autonomous states.

Summa, controlled directly be the president himself consisting of administration and the very heart of the empire. Everything here is run smoothly, and efficiently.

Insula Magnae, hosting a large amount of Corsica's population and holding the Corsican economy on its back, its the 2nd most important Corsican Autonomous Region. Led by "The House of Adamantine" they rule the region specializing the region for the empire's needs.

Catenam, the balearic islands are the Corsican center of research and a highly strategic location. Used for its military bases, but mainly for dangerous and general research. Led by an oligarchy called "Physicus" it is used extensively for research.

Militum, the powerhouse of the Corsican military. Sicilly, Malta, island chains and the such. The Airforce, housed in Malta sits neglected and unhappy. The Navy, split between the ports of Sicilly and Malta aswell as other smaller islands enjoys being the pride of the military. The ground forces, stationed inland of the islands and mainly within Sicilly stands as the bastion of Corsica. Led by General Sollertis Animi it is an absolute unit of military power.

Scissura, the final region consists of all the colonies of Corsica. From Croatia to the congo, it specializes in resource extraction and the such. Led by retired naval officer Senex it is ruled with an iron grip.

These are the new regions of Corsica, and with this split it is aimed that Corsica becomes more efficient and eventually far stronger.
