At 1500h, 10,000 soldiers followed by armoured vehicles and accompanied by tanks, marched from the city of Guntag to the Republic's capital of Ruzberg via the Intercity Highway. The units marched into the empty streets, maintained empty by the local police. The Kah Armed Forces (KAF) were met with zero resistance throughout their journey, and marched straight towards the Kah Government building. Upon their arrival, the KAF surrounded government offices and stormed parliament mid-debate at 1700h. All politicians and lawmakers were seen caught by surprise, with them frantically raising their hands upon being pointed by guns, all except for the Minister of War.
The Minister of War, General Daniel Maxwell, got up from his seat and calmly marched towards the front of parliament whereby the Speaker of the House sat. There, Minister and General Daniel Maxwell declared, "Speakers and attendees of this parliament, I am Minister of War and General of the Kah Armed Forces. You might be confused as to why our fellow countrymen have stormed this room and are holding us at gunpoint. Fear not, for we the Kah Armed Forces have decided to liberate the Republic from its disastrous leadership after decades of zero-growth despite not having reached our fullest potential. From today onwards, we change." The Minister of War then proceeds to lead his other men out of parliament and towards the Overseer's office, whereby the Overseer's guards fire at the oncoming coup but to no avail.
Upon entering the Overseer's office, the troops held Overseer Duckerson Laural at gunpoint and asked him to comply with his orders, to which the Overseer reluctantly agrees. Then the news turns on with a special broadcast live from the Overseer's office, with the Minister of War in the centre and the Overseer at the side:
Minister and General Daniel Maxwell: Good evening citizens of the Republic. I am Minister of War and General Daniel Maxwell. As of 1900h today on 25 April 2090, the Kah Armed Forces have liberated the Republic from its disastrous leadership and will propel this Republic forward into the future. As such, the Socialist Communist Kah Republic is now under the official control of the Kah Armed Forces and Overseer Duckerson Laural shall be placed under house arrest.
Overseer Duckerson Laural steps forward as the Minister and General Daniel Maxwell is handed over a pair of handcuffs, which are placed onto the Overseer's hands live on screen.
Minister and General Daniel Maxwell: I will now allow the Overseer to give out a few words before he is sent off.
Overseer Duckerson Laural: To the citizens of the Republic, it is clear that this current leadership has failed you. We have been unable to grow and as such have been subjected to numerous attacks by larger powers. That is why I accept the order to be placed under house arrest and aszk that you remain calm during such tumultuous times. The Republic will continue to stand despite of this kerfuffle and we will carry on.
Overseer Duckerson Laural is then accompanied by 2 soldiers who bring him out of frame and is sent back home.
Minister and General Daniel Maxwell: With the Overseer now under house arrest and this government under the control of the Kah Armed Forces, as Minister of War and General of the Kah Armed Forces, I declare that the Socialist Communist Kah Republic is now under new management and bestow upon myself the title of Overseer. I now decree that parliament be dissolved, politicians be sent back home, and that martial law is declared. Curfew is now set from 7pm to 7am.
