New Argentina’s military arrive at Antarctic colony

New Argentina’s military has landed ships at the new colony of Iceburgia. These military forced consist of tanks and soldiers, prepped for Antarctic combat. These new troops arrived on January 12th 2090, only a few days after the colony’s construction was completed.

Francisco, the dictator of New Argentina, has claimed that these troops are only here to protect the colony from pirates and to provide the Antarctic Alliance greater protection. As you can see from the image on the right, the army have come heavily armed, bringing hundreds of troops and tanks.

We interviewed a resident from Iceburgia, where the troops landed. “I’m glad the troops arrived, Antarctica is a dangerous continent with many threats, the troops will protect us.” -Quan Ling Ling Dinglenut.

However, not all the residents share this view, hundreds have signed a petition for the troops to leave, and people are speaking out against Francisco. We can only hope the military presence do not react violently.
