After a month of intense fighting this past year, occupying enemy forces finally left the country on December 28, but the capital's radio tower wasn't functional until now. The whole nation has sustained a colossal amount of indiscriminate shelling, costing the lives of many civilians whose numbers are still being counted as we speak during rubble removal operations. Current estimates are expected to reach the hundreds of thousands.

Unlike the last major war, this time there were no peace talks, no treaties, just brutish violence until the foreign armies felt they had enough, leveling entire towns as they left. While we never got an answer as to why this barbaric aggression was committed against us, the conflict is finally over, and major cities are already undergoing repair efforts. The Council has determined the priority is to reestablish basic services like such as drinking water and electricity, which are currently lacking for countless people in many parts of the country.

In total, during the duration of this conflict five atomic bombs were launched against enemy cities, a number that is unfortunately a historical record for our armed forces. As such, the amount of infrastructural damage received by the enemy from our response is likewise devastating, but nowhere near a comfort for our own suffering people. The Vizcain Royal Army is vowing to make the government’s top priority to restore the nuclear arsenal and increase its peacetime stockpile, in hopes that it serves to deter similar aggressions in the future.

Thank God! I barely avoided getting nuked during our war with Crimson Dawn and THT.
