Vizcaino Radio Station, Orbis Date - November 28, 2089

Yesterday, people were enjoying a mildly cold autumn night just like any other, when suddenly emergency alarms went off through the city of Scott, followed by the sight of enemy aircraft primarily targeting its renowned military air base, with civilians hurrying to take shelter whenever possible. Just 3 years after the first major war our nation found itself dragged into, Vizcaino is once again striked by a joint effort of multiple countries, without any prior notice.

Prime Minister Sara Hudson quickly denounced the foreign aggressions, but was swiftly escorted to a safe location just before another airstrike was conducted, this time against the capital city. Air defenses and combat pilots were immediately deployed but were unable to prevent the massive operation. Not long after, enemy planes also targeted Pas-Encore, with rapid response rescue teams mobilized to affected areas in the three cities. In total, between night and dawn the Vizcain Royal Force lost a total of 436 aircraft, with many pilots dead or missing. The Council ordered an emergency meeting and declared martial law for the entire country, with immediate effect. Minister of defense, General Berry, will lead Vizcaino’s war efforts against the expected enemy ground invasion to come.

This time however, the Vizcain Royal Navy, led by Admiral Molina, was first to respond and several enemy ports were barraged and blockaded, sinking an estimated 79 enemy ships in total against 38 losses of our own. Meanwhile tens of thousands of volunteers rally to recruitment camps once more, a large-scale operation to evacuate civilians from the larger cities is being implemented as we transmit, so please follow instructions from police officers or soldiers for your area. There are also strong rumors that Minister Nikolai, from Internal Affairs, is being allocated a generous wartime budget to enhance government intelligence services.

We urge anyone listening this broadcast to take shelter and refrain to enter the country if you plan to do so, as danger is currently present. May our pleas for peace be also heard.
