War has been going on for a long time, yet for a long time no actions happened. 

In a speech in Versailles about the current situation Louis Napoleon said this:

The defence of Europe had been a success. Europes Future is secured and the people of Europe can strife for peace and unity. We will watch the situation further to decide when to use military or not, but I declare general peace for the Nation of France. This doesn't mean we shouldn't be prepared for enemy raids however. Let's hope for the best for all of us!
