As the tensions between the two Macedonian nations increase, it's becoming more and more obvious that a war has become inevitable. What started as a general name dispute, became a matter of recognition of sovereignty with North Macedonia not officially recognizing the state of New Republic of Macedonia. Then it escalated into a border dispute with baseless accusations coming from NM that NROM is crossing into their land to expand their borders.

It has become known that the Weebunism attack against NROM has destroyed the majority of the country's borders, which made King Karusa order a rebuilding of the borders they lost, which sparked accusations that NROM soldiers are crossing into NM to "redraw" the borders, which has been proven false. Throughout the years, King Karusa has tried everything to avoid a civil war with the nation they gained independence from, but after several unsuccessful diplomacy attempts, the King has come up with a drastic last resort, to outright threaten NM.

The letter landed on the NM Prime Minister's desk not long ago, and while we cannot discuss word for word what it said, a brief summary describes the letter to be a direct threat. Essentially, it said that NM should cease all aggressions towards NROM as soon as possible, otherwise NROM will mobilize over 50% of their military in order to invade and flatten NM, and then annex them. The threat was followed up with the lining of 20,000 NROM soldiers across the NROM-NM border, all supported with light armoured IFVs and modern weaponry. Tolls into the country are being kept open in case any Macedonian citizen wishes to flee from NM into NROM.

The threat resulted in an increase of NM soldiers along the border as well, however not nearly as many. King Karusa warns that the military size difference between the two nations provides NROM with a 'secured win' and that NM cannot last more than a few weeks with only 73,000 soldiers and no Navy or Air force. While the coercion may not have worked, King Karusa is determined to stand his ground, for a brighter Macedonian future. The Macedonian border force continues to rebuild the border despite political tensions.

IN OTHER NEWS

Macedonian police have located and arrested a notorious Macedonian serial killer who targets tourists. The murderer was found in his own home, drinking a cup of coffee as if nothing had happened. The serial killer had killed 8 tourists, particularly those who belonged to nations in the North American and Asian continents.

The police received an anonymous tip on the serial killer's location (We are not authorized to use his name in the bulletin, as per orders from the police department of Skopje.) and several armed officers barged into his home at around 3:32 pm on a Tuesday. He did not resist arrest and was apprehended without issue. He was immediately tried and sentenced to life in prison without parole or chance of bail. NROM assures all future visitors that this man is off our streets, and tourists can now feel confident and safe to visit Macedonia once more.

IN OTHER NEWS

Following a minor infrastructure improvement within Macedonia, the government has visited almost every city in order to install new, upgraded roads to make the driving experience far smoother, and with zero potholes. These new roads were paved with a higher quality asphalt and concrete that is much more resilient against heavy weight, especially trucks. This ensures that potholes occur much less frequently, and highways are smooth rides for the tyres.

National highways have all been upgraded, however just half of the cities have seen a road improvement, with the other half set to be joining them very soon, once the political situation with NM has subsided.
