Major improvements will be made to improve the standards of the nation's military. The following government article discuss about the major decisions taken to perform so.

Improvements in Army

Increase in troop mobility

1. As a nation with an almost two billion population, the nation seeks to improve its border security. With its aim to improve border security, it also needs good troop mobility. 
2. Hence, a separate organisation, known as Border Roads Organisation will be established with the task of making roads on borders. A budget of 10 Billion Orbis Dollars will be allocated to the organisation, who will look to set up railways and roads for the military and partial-civillian use. A network of 2000 kms of roads will be constructed alongside 2500 kms of 'military purpose' railways, expected to take 3 years.
3. With Transportation infrastructure, the government also issues a tender of 15,000 Armored vehicles in order to ensure quick transfer of troops.

Improvements in troop garrisoning

• 35 New military cantonments will be established for providing living place to troops. A total budget of 17 Billion Orbis Dollars is provided to this project. The military cantonments will have everything from shops, homes to restaurants, institutions and small scale industries. These will be made aside major cities, which is expected to take 4 years.

Increase in troop size

• With about 3 Million standing soldiers alongside 1 Million reserve troops, the government aims to increase the troop size to 4 million soldiers, with more 1 million reserve troops to be opened, which is expected to take about 6 months.

Tender for more tanks and artillery

• A tender of 3000 Tanks and 1500 Artillery is issued by the government, with more 2500 Tanks and 750 Artillery being indigenously made, expected to take 1 year, with a total manufacturing cost of 500 Million Orbis Dollars.

Improvement in Arms

• New arms will be researched by the government, and already existing AK-47s will be mass-produced to about 1 Million units in order to equip more soldiers, with costs amounting to 1 Million, with 7 Months of time taken for manufacturing.

Improvements in Navy

Decommissioning of outdated ships

• All the ships which have served more than 50 years for her nation's navy will be decommissioned into civilian and coast guard vessels, and those who have served for 100 years will be only used for civilian purposes after heavy repairing. Repairing costs will amount up to 1 Billion Orbis dollars.

Manufacturing of new ships

• With the existing infrastructure, the government aims to 25 Destroyers, 100 frigates and 50 Submarines in 3 years, with an investment of 7 Billion orbis dollars.

Establishment of Naval colonies

• New colonies will be set up near coasts of large coastal towns and cities in order to accommodate proper housing for naval soldiers. Similar in nature to Army cantonments, they will be allocated a budget of 9 Billion Orbis dollars and are expected to be built in 3 years.

Making of Coastal Batteries in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Tristan Da Cunha and in Islands off the coasts of Burma

• An investment of 3 Billion Orbis Dollars will be made for above, expected to take about 2 Years. 

Improvements in Air Force

Decommission of old and outdated models

• Old models like the MIG-21s will be decommissioned and will be given to air-defense institutes for practice and teaching air mechanics.

Production of some new aircraft

• About 50 new Airplanes will be made for the nation's airforce costing 600 Million Dollars and taking 1 year, and a tender of 300 new airplanes.

Settlements

• specific colonies in Army and naval colonies will be dedicated for housing of soldiers in Airforce.

Miscallenous

• 75 new Defence institutes will be opened in order to train soldiers, research and develop new military strategies. A budget of 4 Billion Orbis Dollars is assigned to this project and an expected time of 3 years.
• The Defence Equipment and Technologies Development Organisation (DETDO) will be allotted 4 Billion Orbis Dollars for research of new weapon technologies.

With these, we expect to improve the condition of the military of the nation more than it is currently.
