In the Pocono Socilaist Republic
With the Global wae coming to a close, the midterm elections for the National Assembly, and all of local workers councils are taking place. Though it was difficult with the war effort, President Woody Sinclair insists that it will take place. “We have a stated in our constitution that elections should take every two years for the National Assembly. We have the means to be able to do an election that will not disturb the war effort”
The War took a great toll on the PSR, with the lost of life, infrastructure, and for others, a lost of some pride in the nation. Opposition of the Socialist Faction majority in the National Assembly, as well as plenty of local Workers Councils. They saw the lack of centralized planning and defense costly in the war effort on the offensive. Though plenty of victories, there were tough loses that were close in terms of destruction on both sides, but were unable to finish their opponents off. Annica Rolleri, the leader of the National Assembly Centristize faction said “We have seen the faults of the current system in place right in front of us, the people are upset!” They Pish to gain control of the National Assembly but more important, control more Workers Councils in order to centralize more.
People, especially in rural areas came out to vote for this election. Getting to know their local candidates on a personal level weigh in their decision on who to vote who is best for the job. With a strong election turnout, this will decide the next two years of the PSR.
Local Workers Councils took a sharp turn for the Centralist Fanction, especially in farm heavy areas in the nation. Reason being that farmers are in need to rebuild their farms in order to increase food production. “Growing our own food as been a problem” says one farmer “it is important more than every to gathering the resources and help plan out, in order to feed people, reduce waste, and plan for future harvests”
In cities however, there was an increase in the Socialist and Anarchist Factions. “We need to reduce the need of the city government, and make more decisions more by city block by city block” says one Anarchist voter. “No government help won the war, but the people! The people should take charge and rebuild” Socialism is still the lead ideology, the one of which is fought by many leaders including the president himself. They were happy with the war effort, and the first steps for the nation. “Our material conditions have been increasing, and their has been more goods and services more than ever” Said Daniel Block. “We were able to keep everyone feed, cloth, and shelter. Our current policy have worked well with us”
On the National Assembly, there has been a Gain the the Centralist faction, but the Socialist still hold a majority.

Purple: Accelerationist Faction
Red: Socilaist Faction
Dark Red: Centralist Faction
Darker Red: Vanguard Faction
It is still on a Socialist Majority and it will lead the way to reconstruction of the nation
