Policies

 

Social Policy of Johore

1. Definition of Marriage:
Marriage in Johore is legally recognized as a union between a man and a woman. The state defines marriage as a heterosexual partnership based on the traditional understanding of gender roles and relationships.

2. Abortion:
In Johore, abortion is strictly regulated. Women are permitted to have an abortion only in specific circumstances. These circumstances include situations where the woman's life is at risk or in cases where the pregnancy is the result of !@#$. In all other situations, abortion is not legally permissible.

3. Assisted Suicide:
Johore prohibits any form of assisted suicide. Assisted suicide refers to the act of intentionally helping another person end their life. The state considers assisted suicide as illegal, regardless of the circumstances or reasons involved.

4. Recognition of Plural Marriages:
Johore recognizes the right of any number of consenting adults to enter into a marriage together. This policy allows for the possibility of plural marriages, where multiple individuals enter into a marriage contract with full consent from all parties involved.
