Just a few months ago, the city of Terra Populi suffered a nuclear attack. It was the first ever nuke to be dropped on the nation, so that was new. Mass relocation was initiated several hours before the strike, so the casualties were minimized. However, there were a few victims of the strike.

Family member of one man that did not survive reported saying that he forgot his phone in his apartment. He then "broke through fence gate into the city and stole a military jeep." The local military which was facilitating the evacuation also reported similar actions. General Furwhelm of the land forces 8th division claimed responsibility of the man's death. "I should have locked the door to the jeep".

Other accounts of another victim was also reported and documented. Close friend of Wilfred the 3rd urged his friend to listen to the military. However, Wilfred persisted that he stay in his basement, stating "it's just another missle strike. Nothing out of the ordinary". The nuke then hit 126 meters away from his house 35 minutes later.

The Furballian National Government announced a restoration project just last week. Named, "Project Revival", this project plans to repair all damaged infrastructure in the recent war. Studies estimate that this will take more than two decades to complete, with costs going up to a few hundred million Orbis notes. The National Agency of Construction and Architecture published two reports this morning. The first report summarizes how this immense restoration project is going to be handled, while the other contains some concerning information. According to tests conducted in the ruins of the Terra Populi suburbs, toxic radiation had caused unprecedented effects on the buildings. Deterioration and degradation has been reported in nearby membrane buildings. Experts are concerned that the current resource of construction will not be suitable for building in these environments. The article also states that the cities that faced heavy carpet bombing during the war will also need to require extra money for cleanup and waste removal efforts.
