May 22, 2023 | The Month of Victory Day (May 9)

The Return of the Tsar

Premier Karla Soyokov and Prime Minister Karlina Soyokova returned from exile just 2 days ago on May 20, 2023. Besides that, he has been leading the defense of Cossackia and is unscathed as of now. High-security detail is on alert to protect the Premier and his family.

Since the return, Cossackia has been dragged into a war of security by the nations of Cakalistan, Gondolin, and Matras. The Philippine government at the time withdrawing its officials from the country stated that it had nothing to do with hatred against Cossackia, but towards Legion. Nevertheless, heavy conscription is now enforced, and Cossackia is willing to manufacture its newly-designed aircraft and vehicles. The Philippine government finds it fit to join the war, and they send Peacekeeping forces to the borders to help.

ROBUX Funds

Right: GWCinRB, the Premier, leading the fundraiser. (May 22, 2023)

The Armed Forces of Cossackia has started a fundraising program to sell warbonds. People from ROBLOX have helped in donating to the defense of the Fatherland. A short number of foreigners have donated to the Cossackian cause. The Premier himself leads the funding while leading the defense.

If you wish to support us, please go to PLS DONATE, and Gift to GWCinRB any amount. We don't ask too much, we only need just enough warfunds. Better if a lot. Help is appreciated. If you can find the Premier's ROBLOX Account, you can donate in a variety of batches, from the Young Pioneers to the Imperial Cossackia Awards. But due to economic faults, we skimmed only to 1-10 ROBUX.

Civilian Casualties

Asides from the casualties taken by the military. So far, the war has taken a heavy toll on the nation. Around 5000 Cossackians have been killed, 10000 wounded, and 50000 are displaced. Around 4500 Filipinos are struck by the war in the borders, with foreign troops looting local Filipino towns. From the missile attacks, 5000 citizens from Gondolin have been affected as a result of a dying effort to destroy military infrastructure.

The Premier's Stance and the Cossackian Public's

Premier Karla Soyokov has found it an unnecessary burden to be at war at such an early time. But it was only fair for Legion, now in great difficulty in the same situation as Cossackia. He would deliver his Reinauguration Speech when the war ends, and he urged Cossackians to stand up and fight or stay out and cheer. His opinion goes as follows during a taped interview with one of our reporters.

"...we graduated from Grade 10 to now Grade 11. My family wants me to stop my leadership and let me continue family business. But really, this is my passion and dream to lead a country. Sure, I did study as promised. And my dad chickened out so the resignation was useless overall. However, I did manage to focus on my studies and get honors."

"Though, to our part, we didn't want war. We really didn't ask for it. Although if so they wish, the only thing they find here is not victory with laurels, but with new opportunity to be testing dummies. I designed alot during my exile."

"We can only hope to hold out our defenses and come out unscaved. We are not losing, we are just surviving."

"...and in regards to the many losses, it didn't matter. Our men are injured, that's why they can't go back to the Armed Forces. They are not killed nor dead, better than losing lives anyway."

"...that's all I have to say about the war."

— Premier Karla Soyokov, People's Democratic Republic of Cossackia (May 21, 2023)

Prime Minister Karlina Soyokova also has opinions regarding the war.

"My brother? He's still capable on running the country. We just need time to study. That's all."

"We did come back with a challenge of our defense of our freedom, like all countries. But we are confident that even if we are considered the losers, we come out to be winners. The victor is not victorious if the vanquished does not consider himself so. Quoting from Ennius, more related to the First Punic War."

"I am actually excited to come back to leading my nation again, and rule in peace and prosperity."

"We are all dreams in the eyes of God anyway. We are all young teenagers seeking our way out of the quagmire."

— Prime Minister Karlina Soyokova, People's Democratic Republic of Cossackia (May 21, 2023)

The Cossackian public enjoyed the Philippine occupation, and they are happy to have the Philippine government temporarily return. But they are dismayed that the Armed Forces of the Philippines will withdraw due to the end lease. Here's what they have to say about the war. Only a few managed to get us to interview them.

"The war? It's nothing."

— Kielnja resident

"I don't care about politics just as long as I have a steady life. I have ROBUX, a living-in girlfriend, money. What else do I not have?"

— Abingrad resident

"ROBUX PLEASE! PLEASE DONATE TO ME!"

— Liezelnjan resident

"To be honest. I'd rather support Cossackia than Ukraine. Russia took Bakhmut."

— Horizonian resident

The Reaction of the Philippines

When the Philippines started to withdraw troops after the transition, the nations of Cakalistan, Gondolin, and Matras started attacking the country. Some officials were injured as a result, leaving the Philippines no choice but to condone the sudden invasion. The Premiership seeks talks with President Bongbong Marcos, but as of the writing of this news, he's currently busy.

Nevertheless, the invasion is seen as an insurrection. The Armed Forces of the Philippines declares martial law on the entire Mindanao to keep its own citizens safe from looting invaders. The three nations didn't bother with an intervention against the established country. In reaction to the shadow effect, Filipinos flee the outskirts of the border, tired of hearing gunshots and noises every day.

But overall, the reaction of the Philippines is neutral so as to not escalate the situation further.

Conclusion

The Premier returned to a nation already dragged into International Conflict. But the military believes in victory, not defeat. Cossackia and her people are able to survive the war with complications, but they didn't mind the losses and destruction. Although at the end of the war, many will cry for their deceased loved ones and everyone has to pay.
