To the citizens of Korhal:
Your voices are loud and clear. With the arrests of the entire Council of Cities on corruption charges, there is little recourse for us at this moment.
Effective immediately, martial law is in place. The military has already deployed across the country to put an end to the unrest. A curfew of 10pm is also in effect. Citizens are strongly encouraged to cease and desist all actions against the government, and return to your homes. Any citizens caught out after curfew will be subject to arrest. Those who choose to continue to destroy property can also expect to be arrested immediately.
With the destruction of the Council House, and the Federation Concorde with it, we have reached an unprecedented crossroads. The government as it has stood for 7 years is no longer valid. It is my duty to keep Korhal together, and I intend to do just that. The current Mayors of our cities are stepping down, and I am appointing officers from the military to lead each city. These officers will report directly to me, and I will be the final say on any and all matters from this point forth. The office of Chancellor will henceforth be know as General Minister.
My intent is to restore order as a whole, and then discuss a more stable, long-term design to keep Korhal in check.
