Soviet History Part 1

Soviet History.

A story of country that came from nothing to now one of most interesting Nations in Orbis.

 

The Yugoslavian Empire was born; 2085

The Yugoslavian Empire was founded in 2085, immigrating from the Balkans that were under Sedroasian Control to Western Russia. The Yugoslavian Empire was founded in the City of Belgrade, which later became the capital of the Yugoslavian Empire. The only real tensions the Yugoslavian Empire had in the beginning was with the Sedroasian Empire due to the later proclamation of the Yugoslavian Government later claiming that the Balkans were the Holy Land, and deeming it necessary to take the region by force and liberate the people of the Balkans. 

The Yugoslavian Empire joined the ECW and joins its very first war. 2085

Later on near late 2085, the Yugoslavian Empire would the European Commonwealth. The goal of this coalition was to keep foriegn influence out of Europe, which was fairly successful during its short lifespan. This development had actually forced the Yugoslavian Empire to work with the Nation that they believed to be their enemy. The Yugoslavian Empire and Sedroasian Empire would eventually partake in a great invasion of Nigeria against a bloody regime. The joint effort of Lunorians, Sedroasians, Yugoslavians and the French made the liberation possible. This development would lead to the complete destruction of the idea of taking the Balkans by force. 

The End of an Empire; 2085

Shortly after the takeover of Nigeria and the small expansion west. The Yugoslavian Empire was suddenly attacked by unknown Nations. The Yugoslavian Empire simply had no chance to fight against a technologically superior foe and any attempts of resistance. The Yugoslavian Empire shortly fell after what is known as the day when Radiation clouded Yugoslavia's Judgement. Nuclear Weapons were deployed against the Yugoslavian Empire and roughly half of the 130 Million Population died. The Yugoslavian Imperial Government shortly collapsed.

Late 2085.

The Communist Republic of Yugoslavia emerged from the ashes of a dead Empire and made a plea to the rest of Orbis to recognize them as the rightful successor to the Yugoslavian Empire. This guaranteed that all the land of the Yugoslavian Empire would be under the control of CRY. However the Communist Republic government would later change for a more efficient government and way to approach things. Soon after that, The Soviet Federation of Yugoslavia was born. New Belgrade would no longer be the Capital, as Moscow fit the role perfectly as much of the original Capital city was still in ruins. The Federation would later be accepted into the European Commonwealth. 

The Invasion of Western Maghreb, The Federation's Pro European Views.

Shortly after the Federation had rejoined the ECW, the Commonwealth was called to arms as many African Nations attempted to resist against Europe and committing dozens of terrorist attacks against the European Commonwealth, mainly targeting the Sedroasian Empire which would then cause a string of wars known as the African Wars. The Soviet Federation of Yugoslavia had partaken in the Invasion of Western Maghreb(now known as Social Maghreb) The Soviets, Sedroasians, and Lunorians made a joint invasion effort with the support of the Communist British Navy, and of course the support of the Holy American Empire. The Invasion was a success and the region was under European Occupation. There were also the infamous bombings of Kenya and the Anti Insurgency tactics in Nigeria. Everything was great until a large war of death and destruction would devastate the Balkans, the Middle East, and North Africa.

The War of Self Determination. 2086

Suddenly from within the European Commonwealth, the Nation known as Sanctias declared war on another member of the ECW, The Sedroasian Empire. The Sanctians, Ausparians, Japanese and Altis and Stratis(also later became the UKM) Soon followed suit against the Sedroasian Empire. At the beginning of the war, the Sedroasian Empire fought alone against 4 countries. They were rapidly losing in the Middle East and losing control of the  toWestern Regions of the Balkans. By this point the Soviet Federation, along with Communist Britain and Icenia left the ECW due to the complete inactivity of the leadership. Eventually a small Nation known as Prussia joined the war of Self Determination on the Sedroasian side of the war. Their involvement lead to a very bloody campaign in the sands of Libya as Sanctian and Prussian troops butcher each other over meaningless sand. Meanwhile in the Balkans, the Ausparians and Mediterraneans were steadily advancing against the Sedroasians until a counterattack started pushing them back to a stalemate. Meanwhile in the Naval portion,  multiple naval engagements accured between the Japanese and the Sedroasians. 

  Everything changed when the Emperor of the Sedroasian Empire was assassinated. By this point in time, the Federation's stance was to be neutral in this conflict, however right before the death of the Emperor, Prussia had betrayed their Sedroasian Allies, due to the situation no longer looking good for the Sedroasian Empire, the Prussians abandoned their Allies in pursuit of their own gains. Shortly after these developments the Soviet Federation of Yugoslavia declared war on the Kingdom of Prussia.

Shortly after the Declaration of War, the Prussians immediately surrendered without so much as a shot fired. Soon after these developments, the Soviet Federation started sending weapons and tanks to the Sedroasian forces. Shortly after these actions, Sanctias surrendered to the Sedroasians and Ausparia called their surrendering Allies nothing more than cowards who backed down to easily. Around mid 2086, the War of Self Determination was officially over.  However the war only paved way for a very dangerous standoff between the Nations of Europe. 

On a side Note the Soviet Federation of Yugoslavia had the largest expansion in its entire history. The Eastern Expansion.
