A Tale of Valor and Strategy: A Retrospective of Ragnarök War

The Intelligence report had officially informed the President of Hashemites that tensions were building throughout the Orbis; as a response, the President of Hashemites put his country's military on high alert and stood by, while shifting the country's economy to a pseudo-war model.
On September 5, 2087, Hashemites officially entered the "Ragnarok" Alliance War by launching an offensive against the "Hawaiian Republic," the Head of Milcom of the Alliance Serene Wei. With its brand-new V-19 and V-20 fighter jets, the Hashemites Sharifian Air Force destroyed more than 250 enemy aircraft over the course of two days, completely eliminating the Hawaiian Republic Air Force threat.

This early victory was short-lived, however, since on the third day of the conflict, two nations from the alliance Immortal and one from Pantheon each declared war on Hashemites on behalf of their allies. A large portion of Hashemites' fleet that was still dry docked was damaged (pictured right) and considerable amount was destroyed when the combined navies of the Hawaiian Republic, The Immortal Alliance countries Vagaborn and Wilterstan attacked the naval bases. A blockade was put in place against The Hashemites Sharifian Republic since only around 40% of the Hashemite Naval Fleet, which was at sea, could not match the overwhelming numbers and suffered heavy losses.

The Sharifian Forces were being suffocated by constant naval attacks despite having vast reserves for the battle since they were losing a lot of resources, people, and material, including a disastrous naval counter offensive that caused a huge number of casualties. Despite suffering naval losses, the HSAF was demonstrating its mettle in the air, attaining total and dominant air superiority over all other air forces combined, downing enemy aircraft in large numbers while suffering few losses in return.

This had a significant impact on Sharifian war efforts since on the fifth day of the conflict, the Naval Air Arm and Sharifian Air Force began to launch numerous anti-ship air sorties against the enemy fleets on the president's instructions and with the aid of Stand off Air Launched Anti-Ship Cruise Missiles (Pictured below). The Sharifian jets' strikes caused the enemy fleet to suffer extremely high fatalities, while the Hashemite side suffered little to no damage. This was the turning point in the game. By the end of September 28 (23 days after the commencement of the conflict), the enemy fleets were strewn throughout the sea, their combined strength having been weakened by constant air raids that encountered no air defense and left them short of supplies due to the constant destruction of their supply ships. 

 By that point, the Hashemites Sharifian Navy had deployed its entire fleet into the ocean. Modern, recently constructed nuclear-powered aircraft carriers, nuclear-powered cruise and ballistic missile submarines, stealth destroyers, frigates, and corvettes seized control of the seas, attacking and enforcing a blockade on all enemy countries, and offering resolute resistance to enemy counterattacks.

On the 9th day of the war, for the first time the newly integrated Sharifian air defense systems (pictured below) shot down a Tactical ballistic missile launched by nation of Vagaborn, a milestone and remarkable achievement for the Sharifian Armed Forces, reflecting their unwavering commitment to enhancing their air defense capabilities.

The Sharifian Army also launched their offensives at the same time, decimating and paralyzing the forces of Wilterstan and the Hawaiian Republic with precise, coordinated moves and encircling, suffocating pincer actions, killing a great number of enemy troops.
The fourth nation to enter the conflict, the Nation of Makslandija, the sole Pantheon member, helped by launching cruise and ballistic missiles at the Sharifian Republic, but by the 28th day, the Hashemite forces' combined maritime and aerial assaults had rendered the adversary helpless.

The nation of Hawaiian Republic detonated a nuclear weapon in the Capital of Hashemites on October 3, a somber reminder to the same city that had previously suffered a nuclear attack that had caused serious and long-term damages. Despite all the conventional warfare, the enemy nevertheless demonstrated its desperation and demonstrated the devastating effects of WMDs. The Hawaiian Republic was openly designated as an enemy of the state by the president, who then authorized ground operations that resulted in significant losses for the opposition.

According to the agreement between Hashemites and its alliance, the president withdrew the forces from Wilterstan on October 10 (35 days after the war began) and signed a peace treaty, but he was given permission to complete the remaining fronts.                                                      
Masklandija on October 15th, 2087, made a peace deal and surrendered. Vagaborn, who resisted until the very last moment, surrendered and ratified the pact the following day on October 16. The Hawaiian Republic capitulated on October 24, 2087 (49 days after the start of the initial offensive), after the Sharifian Republic authorized ground landings and completely concentrated its war efforts on the Hawaiian Republic with the elimination of three nations that had counterattacked Hashemites in support of their ally.

Celebrations were not long standing and were cut short as The Sharifian Republic was attacked with nuclear weapons by a nation of the Serene Wei alliance, Sawh, 12 days later. Caught off guard and still lacking the skills and equipment to shoot down nuclear ICBM, the country was rocked to its very core by the explosion of two nukes at the cities of Firozkoh and Jabulqa on November 10 and 22, respectively. The Sharifian Republic responded by mounting a full-scale offensive from land, air, and sea, including massive bombing operations from the air by multirole planes and bombers, the launching of land attack missiles by ships (pictured below), and a ground assault by soldiers, tanks, and armed gunships. By November 29th, Sawh had been defeated and coerced into signing a peace treaty. 
 

Ultimately, the Ragnarök conflict served as a reminder of the nation of Hashemites' great resistance, tenacity, and bravery in the face of overwhelming odds and the devastating consequences of the conflict. The courage exhibited by the populace in the face of nuclear weapons is evidence of the populace's unwavering willpower. Additionally, it showed off the power and tenacity of the Sharifian Republic's armed forces.
