Rimskaya Denounces War of Aggression by Aequitas International Government

In a move that he anticipates will shake the stability of the alliance, Commissar Augustus Democraticus has publicly denounced the Aequtias International's National Government for what he calls a "War of Aggression in its full form as an International Crime" against the New Sith Empire. This was his full statement earlier today:

Aequtias was founded as a defender of the peace, with full intention of communion and common defence. This act of terror is a War of Aggression in its full form as an International Crime, and is intolerable by the people. Rimskaya refuses to participate in the warfare, and resolves hereby that we will play a larger role in Aequitas politics in the near future so as to prevent this from reoccurring.

Aequitas has the right to self-defence in this violent world, but we never had the foresight of our creation joining this barbaric system of war. The principles of Aequitas were the unity of all alliances, mainly the smaller ones, but larger if possible. As such, this constitutes a dangerous change in Aequitas' place and role in the world it currently stands in.

Augustus later went on to describe the recent activities of the Federation of Justice in relation to Aequtias and their recent radical acts in defiance of the warfare of Orbis:

I don't support the Federation of Justice having an impact on the Aequitas legal and judiciary systems, as it still constitutes a foreign power having influence in our affairs. Unless the alliance plans to join Aequtias formally, which I heard it has, then this should be cautioned against.

On the other hand, the F.O.J. has recently proposed some very radical ideas and instituted radical policies that Rimskaya hails with pride. The idea of an International and Inter-Alliance Court directly lines up with our idea of an Inter-Alliance governing body to possibly begin to restrict the sheer intensity of warfare in Orbis.

We also applaud their actions of banning the production nuclear weapons in their member states as a step towards world peace. Rimskaya has vowed to never build a single nuclear bomb in her life, and has deactivated many of her former super-weapons.

Chastise and criticise them as you may, but their actions represent a change in the attitudes of some Orbis nations and alliances to this endless war. If I am to make a proper statement, I would predict that by the turn of the century to 2100, we could see a full-force movement for inter-alliance organisations and a greater movement for restrictions on warfare to make Orbis a more liveable world for all.

Augustus has shown very little mental drawback as a result of his father and former Rimskayan Commissar Maximus Democraticus passing away on September 3rd, and has instead taken a much more hard-line Marxist and active role in Rimskayan politics and society. 

The analysts of Rimskaya from her universities and media sources suggest this is part of a greater plan for another attempt at returning Rimskaya to the world stage. 

Even after being ravaged by war, thrown under by criticism and denunciations, and faced with ever mounting odds, Rimskaya shall stand defiant in this world against the armies of disorder and barbarism!
