GBN-           The island of Möljon erupted into violence as ethnic Russian Gavastek Orthodox Church members rushed to the streets to protest the indictment of Ivan Pärn, the alleged mastermind behind the Norrbotten Synagogue Bombing, which occurred on the first of August, 2087. In the six weeks since the arrest, protestors have chanted night and day for the release of Pärn, who they see as an innocent scapegoat framed by a desperate government. As the weeks passed, the protestors became more and more violent, and more and more organised, forming into an anti-Lindgren, pro-orthodox, extreme-right hate-based protest paramilitary group.

Last night, Sunday, the protestors reached the breaking point upon the denial of bond by the Criminal Court judge overseeing the trial, and the filing of civil court charges. The protests crossed the legal qualifications of a riot in Gavastek, and started mayhem. Businesses were looted; fires were set; cars were lit ablaze in the streets. 43 persons were wounded; 24 of which police forces. 5 died; 3 of which police officers.

In other cities, such as Kepstin, and Valhalla Vid Kristen, people have called out for the implementation of Marshal Law in Möljon. Marshal Law, an extremely controversial act granted solely to the Committee of Military Commandment, has not been implemented since the assassination of the popular Head Councilwoman Agnes Lindgren (unrelated to August Lindgren) in 2007.

The organised group, self named as the ‘Liberators of the oppressed people of Gavastek’ front. The local police jurisdiction, along with law enforcement governors and sheriffs, have been recommended to increase alert of riots, and protect the safety of the people of Gavastek.
