KAAVAN ARMED FORCES MILITARIZE FOR FIRST MAJOR MILITARY OPERATION
What was heard of the assembly between Aary Kaali and other council members:
AARY KAALI: We must spread our influence. Kaavan has been sitting aside too long - the continent’s peaceful, quietly profiting nation. We, however, have no industry. We do not trade. We only profit off our resources, which will run out if we do not expand that influence. And I believe the best way to do that is to control several overseas territories, and perhaps set up military bases.
ANAI VAANA: I agree. I suggest a major military operation - perhaps ‘Extensive Influence’ - by which we may set up outposts across the Kaaloini. Currently, I believe we control only one proper port - Karallai - the others are all on the river. Perhaps we may carry out… an operation upon the lands of our neighbor, who has such extensive lands upon the Kaaloini.
AARY KAALI: I am worried, but it is all for the best. I approve the declaration of war. I declare that we must accept defense and aggression pacts with other nations that may request us for such. We will send forces to blockade the Kaaloini - ah. Do you all approve the declaration of war? So then we must also purchase land in other nations to build…
Later releases confirmed that all four council members agreed to declare war. Kaavan is now at war. And the government will accept alliances and offers for us to purchase land at any reasonable rate that diplomats will discuss.
