Republic of China starts combat operations in Siberia.

After a day of fighting a few major updates have transpired. The Chinese military to the west have linked up with the Committee forces and have trapped communist forces in a joint operation and up near the north and east Chinese forces have managed to brake though the defenses capturing factories and liberating villages and small towns. a small revolt (as pictured) has sprung up and it's rumored to be a slave revolt of those enslaved in a Gulag however the exact details of this revolt are not yet fully known and Chinese troops are trying to make contact with the rebels of this uprising.

The mood of the Russian people in towns and villages is one of confusion, in one incident in one border town Chinese troops marched into a Russian village and the response by the village elder was “I think you boys are lost, the Chinese border is back west, you might want to hurry back before the communists try and shoot you” The Chinese Cpt with the help of a translator told the old man “Sir, we are well aware that we are in the borders of the Nation once known as the Russian Federation, We seek both for our sakes and for yours to bring back something a bit like the old Russia.” The older shocked said “Wait what do you mean?” the Chinese Cpt then said “We are here to free your village and other parts of Southern Siberia to create a free Russian state, A second Russian Federation if you will,” At this the old man started to tear up and said “This is too good to be true. . . i . .  are you saying we will be free of the warlords?” “yes” said the Chinese cpt.

After this the village leaders gathered around gave the Chinese soldiers information on known communists and offered the soldiers food, The village also started to establish a militia made up of mostly hunting rifles and said if needed it will not only defend it's village from the communist but also help Chinese forces in combat if needed.

In a speech by one village leader he said “ Today is a rather strange but a rather happy day, For the first time in years we can once again hoist the Russian Tricolor over our roof's! Long live Russia! The Liberated Power destined once again for glory!”

KMT news Today can not show pictures of the event's yet due to the village requesting that we keep them anonymous as they are still worried about soviet attacks on them.

The Chinese government is also keeping a eye on the ultra Nationalist warlord to the north and hopping to not have to engage in combat with the so called “Russian National State” however for now even with the conflict still going on there is hope for a free South Siberia.
