Today, strengthened by the continuing protests, the head of the PSU party tabled a motion of no confidence towards the recently elected government. This means that tomorrow the chambers of the government will be called to vote on supporting the government or not. If the government can win a simple majority in both chambers it will carry on with its duties, while if it fails to gather enough support in any of the chambers it will fall and President Victoria Desiderium will decide wether or not to go to new elections or have S&D, the biggest party which won the prime minister mandate, attempt to form a new coalition.

In the Senatum the government holds a slim majority, so should the government coalition hold together it should be able to pass enough support to win the confidence vote in the Senatum. However the main battleground will be the Camerorum where the governing coalition is just 3 seats shy of a majority and therefore it will need some external support.

As for how the parties will vote, unity has been observed within the governing coalition, therefore it isvery likely that it will unequivocally vote in suppor of their own government. Likewise the radical camp, spearheaded by the PSU, is united in its resolve against the government and it is unlikely that any support can be won here by the government, although rumor has it some forces would be open to a coalition with the establishment if some conditions were met. Meanwhile the liberal side is more open to the idea of supporting the government should it relax its ban on private property, with IR being in talks with S&D and other coalition partners to work out a possible deal, tho many think it is unlikely for the Socialists to agree to a pact with the liberals.
