Gehinnom Begins Missionary Aid

This week the Tiefstag released a statement following the election of new government missionaries in Gehinnom. High Cleric Josef Carter - Gehinnom's Minister of Faith - assured the people of Orbis that his new plan is not one of persecution, but enlightenment:

"Orbis has long suffered a deficit in spirituality. There are profane cults, nonsensical hedonists and an overwhelming presence of atheism holding back our species from spiritual progress. Perhaps even worse, many nations of faith have lost their way among the war and wealth that washes Orbis in sin. It isn't so much that they are wrong in what they believe, but in how and why they believe it. There must be reconciliation, the path must be opened, and we seek to guide all of Orbis to it. Example and guidance will be our method."

Gehinnom is expected to send Abyssian Missionary-Diplomats to all corners of the globe, bringing aid to impoverished communities and education of Gehinnom's national faith. This includes the reading of scripture as well as the dissemination of academic principles, such as encouraging scientific study.

It is no secret that most of Gehinnom's population are practicing Abyssians - but their history has long followed a precedent of isolationism from the global community. This new initiative has brought many questions into the public square, such as a new foreign policy. The Kaiser has assured the people that Gehinnom will not follow the path of crusades and inquisitions, but rather education and kindness.
