GBN-        In good news for the Gold Standard Reinstatement Efforts (GSRE), the gold reserve lost to the military coup within the Republic of Canada, was retrieved and is now back within Gavastek sovereign land. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has been attempting to seek a diplomatic solution to retrieving the nation’s gold for many months now, but has been very limited in their abilities to do so due to the fact that the National Assembly has yet to vote to recognise the legitimacy of the military junta’s government, and so forth making official communications limited at best. With all diplomatic and peaceful solutions drained and exhausted, the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, the president, and the Minister of the Armed Forces were all in concurrence of the act of aggression portrayed by the military junta in the Republic of Canada, and all unanimously sign off on a specially trained forces extraction to retrieve our sovereign country’s 26% of our gold reserve. The retrieval was successful, and the National Assembly and National Conference both concurrently signed approved the motion to ostracise and deem the Republic of Canada as a Pariah State.

In bad news for Minister of Economics Eric Bergstrom, the impeachment trial carries on within the National Assembly building, as both sides give their arguments to the members of the National Assembly and the GJNJ. So far, as per the allowance of public viewing during the trial, we have seen a great deal of damning evidence against the minister, particularly from email exchanges warning of the security of our overseas gold reserves, and a memo sent from the bureau of international monetary security to the economics ministry warning of the potential risks of storing part of the National Gold Reserve in the Republic of Canada. We have yet to see any strong legal defence of note to be presented by the Minister and his legal team.
