Barbarian Inclusion Act Passes

12 April 2085

In a recent string of new legislation pushed through by Governor Marcus Domitius the long debated Barbarian Inclusion Act has finally been made law. This immediately ends the series of tribal reserves the Barbarian peoples have long been held to, and are free to integrate themselves into Roman civilization within the Order.

This is not free from controversy, however, as many Romans protest declaring this as a direct assault upon Roman culture, and Barbarian leaders protest as well claiming these reforms do not go far enough. Culadorix, an Illyrian Chief of Gaulish and Germanic descent spoke against the recent act, calling it "milquetoast" and "without backbone", criticizing our Grandmaster, Flamen and Governor Marcus Domitius and ineffective and cowardly. While this places him in violation of recently passed Sedition Acts, no warrant has been issued out of respect for the sovereignty of his tribal holding.
