All Femboy Trade Guilds Holidays!

Many know that Femboy Island is a very different place from the rest of Orbis, being entirely inhabited by femboys; however outside of Femboy Nation not much is known about femboy culture and society. The Ministry of Culture has decided to start a collaboration with our broadcaster to spread the femboy culture. 

Today we will cover national holidays within the Femboy Trade Guilds! 

January

• January, 1st - New Year's Day: While the femboy year is not based on the Gregorian calendar, New Year's Day is not only an occasion felt throughout Orbis but also among femboys. Usually the guilds grant a day off to allow all the femboys to celebrate with their families. 

February

• February, 14 - Love Day & National Foundation Day: two occasions that coincide, the first is the celebration of love in all its forms, with valentine's day femboys having romantic dates and celebrating their love. This day is also important to the Femboy Nation as it coincides with the date of the landing of femboy boats on the soil of Femboy Island and the founding of the Femboy Trade Guilds. There is usually a speech by Crown Prince Iwan, a parade of all guilds and a huge national banquet at the end of the day to celebrate the birth of the Femboy Nation. 

March

• March, 1st - Femboy New Year: the beginning of a new year according to the femboy calendar. Some think the tradition of counting a New Year from March is connected to the Femboys' trade heritage, but even though this tradition has been lost, it remains a major celebration within the nation.
• March, 14: Spring Festival: One of the Femboy Trade Guilds' four twin seasonal festivals. This festival is dedicated to spring and all its gifts to Femboy Island. The femboys of the island gather under their guilds and celebrate the new season together. 

April

• April, 1st - Day of the Jokes: the favorite holiday of femboy jesters as during this day great jokes and teasing are made all over Femboy Island. The guilds also organize a competition for the best jester who wins a sum of money. 
• April, 10: Femboy Day: this is the national day of the femboys, celebrating their heritage and cuteness.

May

• May, 11 - Crown Prince's Birthday - 11th May is the birthday of the goodest boy of the Femboy Trade Guilds, Iwan itself. To celebrate this occasion both femboys and friends from foreign nations send their birthday wishes and gifts to the Crown Prince. 

June

• June, 14 - Summer Festival: One of the Femboy Trade Guilds' four sister seasonal festivals. This festival is dedicated to summer and the joy it brings to Femboy Island. The femboys of the island gather under their guilds and celebrate the new season together. 

September

• September, 25 - Veterans Day: Femboys celebrate their veterans of all wars during this occasion, paying tribute to the fallen in the monuments of all femboy cities. 

October

• October, 14 - Fall Festival: One of the Femboy Trade Guilds' four sister seasonal festivals. This festival is dedicated to autumn and the gratitude that femboys give for all that they have received throughout the year. The femboys of the island gather under their guilds and celebrate the new season together. 

November

• November, 7 - Guilds Day: This day celebrates all the Femboy Trade Guilds and their invaluable contribution to the Femboy Nation. 

December

• December, 14 - Winter Festival: One of the Femboy Trade Guilds' four twin seasonal festivals. This festival is dedicated to winter and reflection on a year that is drawing to a close. The femboys of the island gather under their guilds and celebrate the new season together.
• December, 25 - Gifts Day: To celebrate Christmas and the festive season, femboys throw dinners and give each other gifts.
• December, 31 - New Year's Eve: femboys celebrate by waiting for midnight, drinking and watching the fireworks.
