Pollution across the Republic is reported to be "nearly non-existent". This is thanks to the new policy introduced by the government in which it provided subsidies to companies to make the switch to more resource efficient technologies. Oil refineries across the Republic are now able to produce gasoline at twice the rate, allowing some refineries to be shut down in certain cities. This has led to lower pollution across the Republic and an increase in the population. With a more efficient gasoline industry, the government is able to further improve lives.

However, there are concerns that the movement has made the Republic more prone to economic turmoil. The Republic's 2 main exports are gasoline and uranium. In cities that refine oil, 5 uranium mines also exist. With the increased efficiency of oil refineries, the shutdown of some refineries have led to the shut down of uranium mines, and be convert to oil fields. This has raised concerns amongst a minority of the population that the Republic will become too reliant on gasoline export.

In response to the medias' queries, the government responded saying, "Whilst it is risky to increase our reliance on gasoline exports, the current market price for uranium is lower than that of gasoline. By increasing the efficiency of our refineries, we have been able to churn out a more highly-valued product at a lower opportunity cost. Additionally, as our uranium usage is low, the decrease in uranium production has led to a minimal effect on the Republic's export revenue."
