Ädernburg, the capital city of Cangalia, was bustling with activity today as people from all over the Union gathered to celebrate the nation's 700th birthday. The occasion was marked by a notable special flag change and a military parade, led by Cangalia's leader, Krestons Jyhonsyns.

The change from the current white flag to the old yellow flag was a temporary measure, marking a return to the nation's roots for the rest of the month. The flag-changing ceremony, held in the main square, was attended by government officials and citizens from all over the Changalian Union.

As the trumpet call echoed across the city, a procession of dignitaries, led by Krestons Jyhonsyns, made his way to the central flagpole, carrying the old yellow flag. With great ceremony, the white flag was lowered and the old yellow flag was raised, to the applause of the crowds below.

The yellow flag, with its rich history and cultural significance, symbolizes the heritage and traditions of the Cangalian people, reflecting their shared values and aspirations. "Today marks a special celebration for our Nation," said Krestons Jyhonsyns in a speech. "We embrace our history and reflect on our roots as we move forward. This temporary return to the old flag symbolizes our respect for our heritage and the sacrifices made by our ancestors to build this great nation."

The military parade, held by all 3 Changalian union nations, after the flag-changing ceremony, was a display of the strength and unity of the Cangalian Union. Troops marched in formation, accompanied by the sound of military bands and the roar of tanks. The parade was a reminder of the sacrifices made by Cangalian soldiers to defend their country and the importance of maintaining a strong military presence in the region.

For the rest of the month, the old yellow flag will fly proudly, reminding the citizens of Cangalia of their rich heritage and the sacrifices made by their ancestors to build the nation they call home. The flag change and military parade were just two of the many events held to celebrate the 700th birthday, including street festivals, bonfires, and cultural performances.

The citizens of Cangalia can be proud of their nation and its history as they look to the future with hope and optimism. The temporary return to the old yellow flag and the military parade symbolizes a special celebration of the nation's heritage and the determination of its people to build a better future for generations to come.

Me too. (not as old though) My current government was formed in 2077, replacing the communist government that proceeded it. But my nations history dates back to the 16th century when the Principality of Sedrosia was formed.

I'm the same way. The current German administration came into power like two years ago (I took over for another player when I got bored of my last rp) via a coup.

But Germany traces its history all the way back to The Holy Roman Empire if I remember correctly
