In a recent press conference, entrepreneur and inventor Francis Frostbird unveiled his latest invention.
A truly revolutionary new tool for the maritime industry. Dubbed "IceNav", the system aims to track the movement of ships and cargo in real-time, making it easier for shipping companies to optimise routes and schedule docking.

But what really sets IceNav apart from other similar systems on the market is its satellite independence. Unlike satellite navigation systems, IceNav relies on a network of buoys, coastal stations, cameras, and autonomous drones to track ships.

This unique solution is much more reliable than satellite systems which often malfunction due to Plumbago's location in polar region. Our sensors will be manufactured locally in Plumbago with some components being manufactured in Antarcticania and  Pskow.

And, in a move that has many in the industry scratching their heads, there are even rumours of trained orcas and beluga whales fitted with sensors being used as part of the network.

Frostbird, who made his fortune with his flying icebreaker and Southern Seas Railways, is no stranger to thinking outside the box when it comes to solving problems in the maritime industry. "I've always been passionate about the sea and ships," he said in a recent interview. "I believe that IceNav will totally revolutionise the way shipping companies operate, making them more efficient and cost-effective."

Some experts in the field are sceptical of the system, but Frostbird is confident that IceNav will prove its worth in the coming months. "I understand that some people are sceptical, but I believe that IceNav will change the game for the maritime industry."

As always, Frosty Insider will be closely following the development and implementation of IceNav, and will keep our readers up-to-date on the latest developments.
