GBN- The contest for head councilman has been a national race being greatly followed. since the original 13 bids, the 3 rounds of elections have narrowed it down until there were only August Lindgren (3-L), and Per Nordin (7-S) left. In the end, Lindgren ended up winning with 57,6% of the eligible national vote. Lindgren did very well in the more moderate/conservative areas of the country, as he is considered less “far left” than his opponent Nordin.
In other news, protests against a new bill broke out in The Sütheim. This bill was proposed by the Conservative Party Caucus, and targets how the rail lines of our country are allowed to dictate their own renovations. This comes weeks after the largest rail line company in the north east announced plans to upgrade their lines to bullet trains over the current electric.
Finally, Gavastek Independence Day is in a few weeks, and cities across the country are preparing for massive celebrations.
